The school has over 750 students from Pre Kindy to Year 6. The school was originally established by the Dominican Sisters in 1941. The school motto Veritas – Truth links us back to our Dominican foundation that was built by the Sisters. The Dominican mission which continues to be ours is to plant the seeds of faith to inform the hearts and minds of students.     Trust Respect Unity Excellence #TRUE School Advisory Council St Peter’s Primary School is pleased to present the 2024 School Advisory Council ​ ​ Deanna Exeter - Chair Matt Ferrinda - Deputy Chair Nicole Edwards - Secretary Keith D'Sa - Treasurer Fiorda Kule - Member Marie Armstrong - P&F Representative Father Jeronimo Flamenco Castillo – Parish Priest Hilda Tansley – Parish Representative Justin Tuohy – Principal ​ ​ ​ Role of the School Advisory Council ​ The role of the School Advisory Council is to help the school fulfill its educational responsibilities in accordance with the constitution, policies, guidelines and practices of the Catholic Education Council of Western Australia (CECWA) and Diocesan guidelines. Essentially, this role relates to financial stewardship and policy decisions. ​ School Advisory Council composition ​ The School Advisory Council has 10 members consisting of six parent representatives who are elected for a two year term at the Annual General Meeting, a P&F Representative, a St Peter’s Parish Representative, the School Principal and the Parish Priest. The Assistant Principals also attend the meetings. ​ The School Advisory Council meets monthly throughout the school year.
